Rise Ritual is a holistic routine-building app empowering users to start their day with intention. As a freelance UI Designer, I transformed its early concept into a developer-ready product through clear design systems, usability testing, and functional style guides. This project exemplifies my core approach: translating meaningful ideas into intuitive digital products that support personal growth and everyday wellbeing.

PROBLEM :
Rise Ritual had promising UX content and structure but lacked cohesive UI elements. Screens were inconsistent, developer hand-off was unstructured, and usability insights were missing.
SOLUTIONS:
I refined the UI with a functional style guide, ran usability tests, and prepared a developer-ready Figma file, turning design into a scalable product foundation.
CHALLENGE:
The app needed to balance clarity and calm while offering robust user flows. Bringing harmony to scattered design elements within an early-stage startup context required deep UX empathy and visual precision.
SUMMARY:
I created a flexible Figma system with components, styles, and a dev handoff guide. Usability testing via Maze and Zoom informed key design shifts. I collaborated with the founder and developer to redesign the app with a more calming, intuitive flow rooted in wellness UX. Key improvements included simplifying the onboarding, redesigning the UI for consistency, and creating App Store preview slides to support their product launch. While the prototype aligned with the founder’s vision, the project was put on hold due to funding limitations.
